SEKTOR brings MMORPG progression to GTA San Andreas: levelling up provides points to spend on combat, driving and magic skills. Alchemy unlocks new recipes in the Magic School’s cauldron, while certain vampire and spellcaster skills require membership of the relevant guild. Fishing has its own progression and can be improved by catching fish rather than spending skill points. The connection guide requires an unmodified GTA San Andreas installation and the SA:MP 0.3.7 client.

NewLife RolePlay’s rules prohibit using out-of-game information in roleplay or forcing a scene or action without giving the other player an opportunity to respond. Attacking, hitting or killing without a clear roleplay reason is also prohibited. After a character dies, the “Last Life” rule requires them to forget the previous thirty minutes, including the cause of their death.
