Created in 2018, Hydro Vanilla SMP shares a survival world between Java and Bedrock within a whitelisted community for adults aged 18 and over. Season 13 has no planned reset date: a new world depends on a community vote, and previous seasons remain archived and downloadable. There is no plugin currency or land claiming. Entry requires a Discord application; the client performance pack is optional.

NostalgiaCraft offers Java and Bedrock survival without an entry application, virtual currency or land claims. The /trade command supports item exchanges accepted by both participants. Theft and PvP are allowed in the wilderness but prohibited in community graylist zones. Chiseled bookshelves and lecterns cannot be looted, and killing or stealing other players’ villagers or animals is prohibited griefing. A licensed shop is obtained at auction, with monthly rent and approval through a Discord ticket before building.

Vanilla High keeps inventory on death and uses custom hilly terrain, without teleportation to another player. Its rules require consent for PvP but allow killing a thief or griefer caught at your base. The End tolerates unrestricted PvP, raiding and griefing. After the perpetrators of major damage are sanctioned, an Overworld base may be restored if the sum of the absolute X and Z coordinates reaches 15,000. This insurance covers neither the Nether nor the End.

MineBlock separates mechanics for its regular Survival and island Survival. In the former, Towny protects chunks according to town or owner permissions. Upkeep is normally collected daily at noon Beijing time; a town with insufficient funds is deleted, while its buildings remain. On the islands, enchantments reversing vanilla effects can appear through actions such as enchanting at a table or opening an untouched loot chest. They are applied with an anvil and removed with a grindstone.
