Frequently asked questions
What does Norwegian Bokmål mean on FiveM (GTA 5) servers?
The operator, the server itself or its official website lists Norwegian Bokmål as an in-game language. Other languages may also be used. Read the listing and rules to understand how the community communicates.
Does the server have to be hosted in a particular country?
No. The in-game language comes from the operator, the server itself or its official website. The estimated IP country is a separate filter. It does not establish which language is used during play. The connection IP is estimated in Norway. This country does not identify the in-game language or players’ nationality.
How are servers listed and checked?
The selected sort determines the listing order. Online player counts come from status queries, without votes or paid ranking. The map shows an estimated connection IP country. Language filters use operator declarations, server settings and text, or information from the official website. The source is shown on the listing. Machine country does not determine the in-game language.
